Last week Sarah Baumert and I had a discussion on her podcast about trauma informed yoga, a topic, as you know, that is near and dear to my heart.
Following our talk, she shares a level one (beginner in terms of postures) practice that will help ground your mind and stabilize your nervous system – all wonderful things! The practice is all audio, so you’ll need to have some familiarity with the names of poses in order to follow along.
It’s also a phenomenal resource for those for you teaching and struggling with self-care. I practiced the sequence this morning and was very glad I did!
